ZVAC is a super vacuum die casting technique that originated in an English contract foundry at end of 1990.
ZVAC has since been used for mass production of die castings with minimal porosity and low scrap rates.
When applied to existing molds, ZVAC gives big reductions of porosity and surface flow defects, especially on very large thin walled magnesium die castings.
ZVAC is reliable and cost effective.
ZVAC is being used globally, on machines up to 3,200T, for products in magnesium, aluminium, brass and zinc alloys.
